忍者は、戦国時代（15～17世紀）に活躍した特殊な戦士で、情報収集や諜報活動、奇襲戦術を専門としていました。彼らは卓越した身体能力と忍術を駆使し、目立たずに行動する技術に長けていました。

Ninjas were special warriors who were active during the Sengoku period (15th–17th century) and specialized in intelligence gathering, espionage, and surprise tactics. They possessed exceptional physical abilities and ninjutsu skills, excelling in stealthy movements.

歴史 / History

忍者の起源ははっきりしていませんが、古くは飛鳥時代（7世紀）に遡るとも言われています。本格的に活動が記録されるのは戦国時代で、伊賀（現在の三重県）や甲賀（現在の滋賀県）を拠点とする忍者が有名です。江戸時代に入ると、忍者は主に幕府の密偵や護衛として働き、次第に歴史の表舞台から姿を消しました。

The origins of ninjas are unclear, but some believe they date back to the Asuka period (7th century). Their activities were prominently recorded during the Sengoku period, with the Iga (present-day Mie Prefecture) and Koka (present-day Shiga Prefecture) ninjas being particularly famous. In the Edo period, ninjas served mainly as spies and bodyguards for the shogunate before gradually fading from the historical stage.
